Is your organization or office of youth developing projects for the program "Youth in Action Programme of the European Union? Are you together with partner organizations completing one part of the project on-line form, but you need support to complete it? Do you intend to send a project to Brussels in one of the following dates during the 2011th year? Do you maybe (before) the project was not approved, so we need support to improve / better define?
If the answer to any of the above questions is yes, we invite you to sign in to the following training and support program organized by the group "Hajde da..." as a focal point for the Youth in Action Programme of the EU.
The four-day intensive training will aim to promote understanding of all elements of the project form the Youth in Action "The EU, as well as the chance that, with expert supervision of trainers / experts, the project is further developed. In the training will be discussed writing projects under sub-Action 3.1 (Training and networking and youth exchanges) and shares second European Voluntary Service. Training will be held from 23 - 27 February, 2011-e of Law.
After training, all to participants of training will be given three-month intensive support in developing projects which will include communication by phone and e-mail, as well as meetings with the trainers / experts.

From 10 to 21 October 2010 an international training course of youngsters and youth workers from Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Austria, Greece, Italy, Ukraine and Russia was organised within the framework of Youth 4 NEWS project. It was implemented by Association International Initiatives for Cooperation” in partnership with 9 member organizations of youthNET network and aimed at adopting and applying some of the tools and instruments of media into youth work with the purpose to create a better image of the youth.
Media appears to have an increasing role in the daily life of civil society organisations and in particular of youth organisations as by using appropriately its potential we can reach a wide circle of youngsters, even disadvantaged ones.
The partners cooperated to introduce and apply the variety of opportunities that media provides in order to positively influence youngsters in becoming responsible and active citizens by developing their critical thinking and personal, social and professional skills, and to encourage peace-building and conflict prevention.
The main workshops that were held during the event are as follows:

- Press Workshop and Radio Workshop
During the workshops specialists in the
media field have shared their knowledge and experience with the participants.
At the end of the meeting a flash mob was organised to raise public awareness in the topic of media literacy and active participation. The youngsters danced and sang dressed in specially designed raincoats, sending their message to the world: Be media literate! Act imMEDIAtely!

If you have 2 free hours and want to hang out and meet people from different towns, join us and complete our "Treasury of diversity. Through interesting workshops and presentations we will demonstrate different cultures so expect surprises and beautiful and presents :) The worlshops will be in Wednesday, 24/11 at 15h on the premises Bunjevačke house (Promenade 8) in Subotica, and on Thursday 25/11 at 14h in the premises of the Red Cross in Backa Palanka.

On Saturday, 30.10. in Sremski Karlovci begins six-day training for young people within the project "Treasures of diversity" implemented by BalkanIDEA Novi Sad in partnership with the Secretariat of Government regulations and the national community, and with financial support from the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The training will bring together 24 high school students of different nationalities from eight towns in Vojvodina, which will together learn about intercultural relations, respect for diversity and the active involvement of youth in the community. During the training we expect a visit of representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Within the project "Treasures of Diversity ", after training, the high school students are planned to do daily activities in all 8 sites covered by the project (Backa Palanka, Russian Krstur, Tavankut, Kanizsa, Aradac, Alibunar, Sid and Pećinci) where the young participants in the project will introduce cultural variety of Vojvodina, but also by their example to demonstrate the ways in which peers can be more actively involved in their local community. It's also planned an info meeting with coordinators of Office for Youth from these places to which will be presented the possibility to use different European programs for youth, so that after the project continues to support youth in their communities in their activism and intercultural learning.

The project "Treasures of Diversity" will bring together 24 young people from eight towns in Vojvodina, members of different ethnic communities who will learn about the importance of youth activism in local communities and learning about different cultures of peoples living in Vojvodina.
The project will be a training for young people to be held from 26th to 31th September in Karlovci, in which young people will learn about each other and about different cultures living in Vojvodina. At the training, participants will plan a local action that will occur in November and December, conducted in their communities and in which they will present their culture to young people in an interesting and responsive manner.
Within the project "Treasures of diversity" is also planned a one-day training for coordinators office for youth from eight sites covered by the project on programs and funding opportunities through international projects that will continue to support intercultural learning and prejudices and stereotypes of young people from their local communities.
